Cheapest plan
Add at least one book, then run the optimiser.
How it reads: each step combines the left (target) item with a sacrifice book and shows that step's level cost. The prior-work penalty grows as 2ⁿ−1 with every anvil use, so the optimiser pairs books into a balanced tree instead of stacking them one-by-one. Java blocks any single step of 40+ levels ("Too Expensive!"). Multipliers reflect the long-standing Java table; verify per version before shipping. Item-to-item combining and Bedrock's increment costs are out of scope here.
Beacon pyramid
Range is a square radius of 10 + 10 × tier blocks horizontally and downward, plus the dimension height upward. Material never changes range or effects — only price. Every block is crafted from 9 ingots/gems.

Experience needed
Java uses three tiers: a level-up costs 2L+7 (0–15), 5L−38 (16–30), then 9L−158 (31+). Level 30 is the enchanting-table cap, which is why most players farm to 30 and no further.

Shape & dimensions
Boxes, walls, floors and stepped pyramids are exact. Circles and spheres are voxel approximations (a block counts if its centre is within the radius) — handy for planning, but eyeball the curve in-game.

A chest and a barrel each hold 27 slots; a double chest holds 54. A shulker box is 27 slots and stays packed when moved. Counts below show how many of each container fully holds your items.

Choose a potion
Every brew runs ~20 s in a blaze-powder-fuelled stand and treats all three bottles at once. Redstone and glowstone are mutually exclusive — a potion is either extended or Level II, never both.

Items-smelted-per-fuel is identical in every furnace type — blast furnaces and smokers just finish in half the time while burning fuel twice as fast. A lava bucket returns an empty bucket.

Portal coordinates
Horizontal coordinates scale 8:1 between dimensions (Overworld ÷ 8 → Nether, Nether × 8 → Overworld); Y stays the same. Build the destination portal at these coordinates and light it manually so the game links the pair instead of generating a new portal.

Assets
Crafting grids use colour-coded ingredient tiles rather than Mojang’s copyrighted textures.
